Logging in to your Cricex account should take about ten seconds — type your mobile number, enter your password or OTP, and you are in. But understanding what is happening behind the scenes, what to do when things go wrong, and how to keep your account secure is worth knowing properly. This guide covers all of it.

Two Ways to Log In to Cricex

Cricex offers two login methods for Pakistani players. Both are equally valid — it is a matter of preference and situation.

Password Login is the standard method. You enter the mobile number you registered with and the password you set when you created your account. If you have saved your password in your browser or a password manager, this is the fastest option. The "remember me" checkbox keeps you logged in on your personal device so you do not have to re-enter credentials every time — use this only on your own phone or computer, never on a shared or public device.

OTP Login sends a 6-digit one-time code to your registered mobile number. No password needed. This is useful if you have forgotten your password, if you are using a device where you do not want to type your password, or if you simply prefer this method. OTP login is also slightly more resistant to password-based attacks since it relies entirely on access to your registered Pakistani mobile number.

What to Do if You Cannot Log In

The most common reasons a Cricex login fails, and what to do about each:

• Wrong mobile number format: Cricex uses 11-digit Pakistani numbers starting with 03 (e.g., 0312 3456789). Do not include +92 in the field — just the 11-digit number starting with 0.
• Wrong password: Use the "Forgot password?" link on the login form. A reset OTP will be sent to your registered number and you will be able to set a new password within 5 minutes.
• OTP not arriving: Check that your mobile is on a working network. OTPs can occasionally take 1–2 minutes on busy networks. If it has been more than 3 minutes, use the "Resend OTP" button. If still not receiving, contact Cricex live chat — they can verify your account manually.
• Account locked: After several consecutive failed login attempts, Cricex temporarily locks the account as a security measure. The lock lifts automatically after 30 minutes, or you can contact support to unlock immediately after verifying your identity.
• Account suspended: If your account has been suspended — for a terms violation, KYC issue, or responsible gaming request — you will see a specific message. Contact support for details. Self-excluded accounts cannot be reinstated before the exclusion period ends.

Keeping Your Cricex Login Secure

A few habits that make a meaningful difference to your account security:

• Use a unique password for Cricex. Do not reuse a password you use for email, JazzCash, or any other service. If another service is ever compromised, a shared password puts your Cricex account at risk too. A password manager makes this easy.
• Do not share your login details. Cricex support will never ask for your password. Nobody else needs it either — not a friend, not a family member, not someone who promises to "fix" your account. Anyone asking for your Cricex login credentials is attempting fraud.
• Log out on shared devices. If you ever log in on a tablet, computer, or phone that is not yours, always log out when you are done. Do not use the "remember me" feature on shared devices.
• Keep your registered number active. Your mobile number is your primary security recovery method. If you change your number, update it in your Cricex account settings before the old number goes inactive — otherwise you can lose access to OTP recovery.
• Enable OTP login as a habit. Even when logging in with a password, consider switching to OTP login as your default method. It is marginally slower but significantly more secure.

What Happens to Your Balance When You Log In After a Long Break?

Your Cricex balance does not expire or disappear due to inactivity. If you have funds in your account and have not logged in for a while, those funds will be exactly as you left them. However, some promotional bonuses do have expiry periods — any bonus credit that expired during your absence will no longer be in your account. Real-money balance is never affected by inactivity.

If you activated a self-exclusion period and it has now expired, contact support to confirm account reactivation — accounts do not automatically reopen after a self-exclusion ends. This is intentional, giving you an extra step to confirm you are ready to return before the account becomes active again.
